Creating a Mirror
We have tried to make setting up a mirror as simple as possible. However there are a few minor requirements.
The location of the directories has some minor importance, this is mainly so that the statistics page works correctly. The layout is as follows:
/SOMEDIR/htdocs/
/SOMEDIR/logs
SOMEDIR can be any directory you wish, for example /var/www/wolf-software etc. As long as the 2 main directories relative locations are set right it won't matter. /SOMEDIR/htdocs/ should be your DOCUMENT_ROOT.
To start mirroring simple place the mirroring script into cron. Remember to make it executable!
You need to manually check out the website from subversion the very first time.
cd /SOMEDIR
rmdir htdocs
git clone http://git.wolf-software.com/wolfsoftware_website.git htdocs
This only every needs to be done once, the supplied script will do everything else automatically. We generally run it around 2am on our own servers.
